Even more digital entertainment on board Lufthansa flights

  • Magazines now available digitally on board free of charge
  • New diverse range of podcasts
  • Live ticker during the European Football Championship

Frankfurt, 18 June 2024 - Lufthansa is now offering new in-flight entertainment options on board short and medium-haul flights: passengers can now access around 45 renowned German and English-language magazines free of charge and without limit via the FlyNet® Wi-Fi portal and read their favourite titles on their own electronic device. This new service is also available on long-haul flights, which are equipped with the new Allegris cabin and offer a new in-flight entertainment system in all travel classes. For the first time, Lufthansa passengers in all classes can also read digital magazines on the seat monitor.

As usual, passengers can also download a certain number of eJournals before their flight and until the end of their journey, depending on their travel class and Miles & More status. They can choose from around 1,600 titles in 40 languages.

Another new feature on board European flights is the range of podcasts. The FlyNet® portal offers a wide range of articles from various genres, such as business, travel, science and entertainment, in German and English, free of charge.

During the European Men's Football Championship, there is another highlight on board: Lufthansa passengers can follow the matches in real time on their own electronic devices via a live ticker on FlyNet®. In addition, various football magazines will be available in the media selection during the European Championship. And, of course, the crews on Lufthansa flights will regularly announce the latest scores.
